This workshop aims to critically present the advantages and indispensability of advanced biofuels and CO2-based fuels, not only for the European economy but also for the environment and for the climate.

Renowned representatives from politics, industry and academia have confirmed their participation. Amongst the confirmed speakers and panel discussion participants are:

• Mr. Roland Weigert, State Secretary at the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy,
• Dr. Kyriakos Maniatis, Principal Administrator, DG Energy, European Commission,
• Prof. Kevin Anderson, Expert on Climate Change, University of Manchester,
• Members of the European Parliament and key players in production of advanced biofuels.
