• CBE JU brochure: A competitive bioeconomy for a sustainable future
  The LIGNOFLAG project is funded by the public-private partnership CBE JU (Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking), formerly known as BBI JU. CBE JU is operating under the rules of Horizon Europe, the EU’s current framework programme for research and innovation (2021-2027). The goal of CBE JU is to contribute to the EU’s climate neutrality goal by 2050 while increasing the sustainability and circularity of the production processes. Recently, CBE JU has published the brochure A competitive bioeconomy for a sustainable future that shows how the 14 first-of-their-kind commercial-scale biorefineries funded by the joint undertaking can contribute to making Europe greener and to creating more jobs.
