The BIO World Congress 2019 on industrial biotechnology offers a new programming featuring the latest developments in industrial biotech, food and agricultural technology, BIO One-On-One Partnering™ meetings plus networking opportunities. Participants will get information in the fields of agricultural crop technologies, industrial biotech including synthetic biology and genetic editing, Advanced biofuels, biobased materials, renewable chemicals, flavors, fragrances and food ingredients, and biomass supply. Furthermore, the Exibit Hall will be an open forum for exhibitors and visitors in order to exchange about the latest news in technology and innovation throughout the event.
Participants will be invited to choose from dozens of breakout sessions, company presentations, start-up stadium pitches and more. In addition, workshops designed for specific discussions on business or technical information will offer an interactive platform to exchange experiences. The so-called Super Sessions will focus on the most pressing issues facing the industrial and agricultural biotech industry today.
Clariant will present the LIGNOFLAG project in a break out session about the economic viability of lingo-cellulosic ethanol, which is a major challenge for roping in investments in this sector. Get more information about the session here.
